This morning after breakfast, drive to Mattupetty a delight for nature lovers. Visit Mattupetty lake and dam, which are very beautiful picnic spots with boating facilities available. Proceed to Echo point famous for the natural echo phenomenon, the sprawling Kundala tea plantations and Kundala lake. Later you may visit Top Station offering marvellous views of the Munnar valley below. Wind up the day's tour with a visit to the TATA society shop and return to the resort.

Drive to Alleppey to get aboard your houseboat. Cruise through Punnamada lake to enter the enchanting waters of the Vembanad lake and enjoy the panoramic views and the glimpses of life along the banks. Palm fringed narrow canals winding through the vast expanse of paddy fields and the neat tiny hamlets lined up along either side of the canals are sights one can never forget. This morning, check out from the houseboat and drive to Kumarakom, a picturesque, clean village which is a tiny hamlet on the banks of a lagoon formed by the Vembanad lake. Check in to your resort where calm, emerald backwaters reflect hundreds of thousands of gently swaying palms where the primary attraction however, is its lazy ambience. Visit the bird sanctuary of Kumarakom and explore a whole new world of feathered species followed by a visit to the museum. Enjoy the sunset cruise in the evening.
