Day 1 MUNNAR |
You are picked up from the airport / railway station or any location in Cochin to experience the best of Kerala. Proceed to Munnar, where sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make it a unique experience. Check in to your resort and get ready for your tour of the wildlife at Eravikulam National Park, a sanctuary set up for the preservation of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Now the park has the largest known population of Tahr's existing in the world. Return to your hotel. |
Day 2 MUNNAR |
This morning after breakfast, drive to Mattupetty a delight for nature lovers. Visit Mattupetty lake and dam, which are very beautiful picnic spots with boating facilities available. Proceed to Echo point famous for the natural echo phenomenon, the sprawling Kundala tea plantations and Kundala lake. Later you may visit Top Station offering marvellous views of the Munnar valley below. Wind up the day's tour with a visit to the TATA society shop and return to the resort. |
Day 3 PERIYAR |
Get ready after breakfast for your morning drive to Periyar nestled in spice and rubber plantations. Known to be Kerala's pride and testimony to nature's splendour, Periyar has a lot to offer in terms of wildlife. Periyar is famous for its rare habitat of birds and animals and is one of the most popular destinations for nature lovers. Check in to your resort and get ready for your trip to cardamom hills where you could have a closer look at the spice plantations. Rest of the day at leisure. |
Day 4 PERIYAR |
Today you are now all set for a sightseeing tour by motorboat to watch the wild life mainly wild elephants in herds. Other than wild elephants, you may also catch sight of Tigers, Bison, Spotted deer, Gaur and other animals. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. Return to your resort in the evening. |
Day 5 KUMARAKOM |
This morning after breakfast get ready for your drive to Kumarakom, a picturesque, clean village which is a tiny hamlet on the banks of a lagoon formed by the Vembanad lake. Check in to your resort where calm, emerald backwaters reflect hundreds of thousands of gently swaying palms where the primary attraction however, is its lazy ambience. Enjoy the sunset cruise in the evening. |

Today visit the bird sanctuary of Kumarakom and explore a whole new world of feathered species. For an inquisitive bird watcher it is an ideal place that echoes with the chirping of birds including a variety of migratory birds. Take a walk around the sanctuary while experiencing the sights and sounds of these birds followed by a visit to the museum. Either you are free at leisure, or enjoy the backwaters with paddleboats, canoe and Kayaks at the lagoon available at the resort. |
Day 7 DEPARTURE |
After breakfast you could try your hands at various games your resort has to offer.
